In a context where media saturation reaches high levels, it becomes essential to critically explore the nature of our interaction with the media. How do we make sense of the media? How do the media contribute to our understanding of the social world? How do we position ourselves in our interaction with the media? In this workshop we will discuss such questions by exploring Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as a text. (Please watch the film beforehand if you haven’t seen it before.) |
